About Brigette Gray
I have been in the interior design and decorating profession for over 30 years but my passion for decorating started at an early age inspired by my mother’s talents for painting, dress design, interior design and her encyclopedic knowledge of art and antiques. Our family home was the canvas for experimentation and redecorating and repurposing was an on-going process.
Early in my career wallpapering, stenciling and faux finishing were in demand so I became skilled in those areas and started a cottage business. I was so lucky to learn the nuts and bolts of remodeling and building from a sought after contractor, Joe Bailey and his team as they hired me to design and collaborate on many diverse projects . As the years have gone on remodeling and building are still my first love with fabric, color consultation being a close second. With my current business partner, Geryl Miller, the ideas flow effortlessly as we design spaces that reflect the occupants of the home and endeavor to make the home serve the client’s needs not our own aesthetic.
I earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts at Indiana University with an emphasis on architectural and art history. I later supplemented my love for design by taking almost every interior design class that Ivy Tech has to offer for a very practical and complete rounding of my education.
Interior design is my vocation and my advocation. My passion and enthusiasm for decorating and curating has never dwindled, and I hope you will trust us with your next project, and we will bring your vision to life.
